What does Aligned cost my practice?
A $75 placement fee per day worked, the same for every role. It is charged to the dental practice only once the assignment is completed. There is no subscription, no sign-up fee and no retainer. Booking a lot? After 8 assignments in a month, each additional assignment is $50.
Who pays the dental professional?
Your practice does, directly, at the end of the day. Each dental professional sets their own hourly rate within the Bay Area market range, and you see it before you confirm.
Who is the employer during an assignment?
Your practice is. We are a referral service: we find and verify the dental professional, and your practice is the employer of record for the assignment and pays them directly at the end of the day.
Is Aligned a staffing agency or a referral service?
We are a referral service for temporary and permanent dental staffing. We find, interview and verify licensed dental professionals and match them to your practice. Your practice employs the dental professional for the assignment.
What roles do you cover?
Dental assistants, RDAs, RDAEFs, registered dental hygienists, front office, office managers and dentists.
How do you check licenses?
We interview every dental professional, check references and verify their California license or permit on the DCA license search before a first assignment. You see the license before you confirm.
What if you cannot fill my assignment?
You owe nothing. The placement fee is only charged to the dental practice once the assignment is completed.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel more than 24 hours ahead: free. Within 24 hours: $37.50, half the $75 placement fee. If a dental professional is sent home, the full $75 placement fee applies. Either way, the dental professional is paid what California law requires.
Can I hire a dental professional permanently?
Yes. Permanent placement is $1,400 flat, and any placement fees you have already paid for that dental professional count toward it.
Do I need an app?
No. Our app is on the App Store if you want it, and the website works in any browser. One short form to request, and a real person on our team handles it. Confirmations come by text and email.
Which areas do you serve?
The Bay Area, including Contra Costa County, the Tri-Valley, Oakland and the inner East Bay, San Francisco, the Peninsula and San Jose. See all areas we serve.
Does it cost anything to join?
No. It is free to join, and no fees are ever taken from your pay.
How do I get paid?
The practice pays you directly at the end of the assignment.
Can I set my own rate?
Yes. We show you the Bay Area market range for your role and you choose your number. Practices see it before they confirm.
Do I have to take every assignment?
No. Say yes to the assignments that fit and skip the rest. Offers come by text.
What do I need to join?
Your California license or permit number and a photo of it if your role needs one, your CPR card expiration, and a resume. After you apply, we set up a quick phone interview.
Which cities will I work in?
Only the ones you choose. Tell us where you will drive and we stay inside it.
